The other day, my friends shared a song their 24 year old son Charlie had written while isolating in his NYC apartment.  It's called "When It's All Over" and for the first time in quite a while, I found myself looking forward beyond the next hour, the next day.  And so I shared the song with my students and asked them to contribute a verse to the song.  I had already written my version, and I found it cathartic.  Below, I compiled some of their thoughts and hopes looking forward "When It's All Over."  I'm also including a link to Charlie's original song that inspired us.

I’ll enjoy the sounds of my friends and I laughing

I’ll remember the shows of my sister dancing

I’ll miss my mom baking nightly.
