Good Boys is a movie definitely worth watching if you’re over the age of 18. Good Boys is a comedy film that is rated R and was released on August 16, 2019. It made 110.9 million dollars in box office sales and was given a rating of 6.7/10 by IMDb. The movie is about a 12 year old boy named Max, who is invited to his first kissing party of 6th grade. But Max struggles because he doesn’t know how to kiss so he decides to go to his friends for help. Max and his friends Thor and Lucas set out to find different ways to kiss. They hit walls on their adventure and have to overcome them to get to the party. 

This movie was honestly a great humor film. It shows how kids are adventurous and will do anything to have a little fun with their friends. A hilarious scene is when the boys enter a gas station and ran into a cop, who didn't really want to bust anybody at the moment because he was tired. But since the boys were nervous about getting caught they told the cop about the supposed drugs they had on them. I think the acting was nothing less than amazing and truly felt that these were just kids trying to make a dream come true. 

The main characters are Max (Jacob Tremblay), Lucas (Keith L. Williams), and Thor (Brady Noon). The two teenagers are Hannah (Molly Gordon) the next door neighbor, and Lilly (Midori Francis). This movie really stuck out from others because it’s about three young boys who want to go to their first party, and most people have been in that situation at one point in their life. Lot of people can relate to the story in general, but a lot of the other crazy stuff is random and a great touch to make it interesting. I disagree with the 6.7/10 from IMDb. The movie hilariously expands on the problems of a couple of 6th graders. Since the movie is rated R nobody under 18 is supposed to watch this movie. I believe the low rating may be parents who thought 6th graders were too young to see the movie. But it was not made for them. Or even contact anyone they’d like to at anytime. I believe viewers should not have rated this movie this low because all it’s supposed to do is just make you laugh.
