Chynna Rogers is an up-and-coming rapper out of Philadelphia and New York. She has gained a small following, but is still relatively unknown.

    Rogers began her path to popularity young as a model starting at 14. She began rapping at age 19 and has been on the rise ever since. While not well known to the general public, Rogers is certainly connected. She has close ties to the ASAP Mob, a New York rap group that includes ASAP Rocky and ASAP Ferg.

    Rogers has released three EPs: “I’m Not Here. This Isn’t Happening.”(2015); “Ninety”(2016); and “Music 2 Die 2”(2017) and has continuously shown her musical talent on each. She has been following a trend of releasing new music every year and has recently stated on Twitter, “new EP before december yea i said it!”

    Those interested in modern rap beats, but wanting lyricism with some more substance should look into Chynna Rogers. She is similar in style to ASAP Rocky and ASAP Ferg and should be interesting for any fans of the ASAP Mob. Some good songs to start out with would be “Seasonal Depression” and “Selfie.”
