By my calculation, if the adage is true, 350,000 words were on exhibit on Tuesday, May 29th because, according to Ms. Buongiovanni, there were 3,500 pieces featured at the annual Art Show. The event is held In conjunction with music awards and inductions into and Tri-M Music Honor Society. The exceptional art work was on display in the lobby and throughout the library. When we asked Mr. Owens, he said, “This was definitely one our biggest shows to date. There were so many new and innovative projects.” Ms Buongiovanni also commented, “The artwork incorporates cutting edge technology as well as more traditional art media." The show featured works from students in grades 8-12, at showed at least one piece per art student. Once again, we have testimony that the arts are alive and well at MHS.
