What is there to do on cold winter days?  The usual things come to mind, like skiing, snowboarding, and ice skating.  But for senior Justin Charles, winter is an opportunity to use a drone to capture the winter landscape.

Charles decided to fly his drone across Mechanicsburg, PA, to capture the winter industrial scene. 

“Some days I enjoy driving around and finding cool things to film, “Charles said.  “That’s what I did the day I filmed this short winter video.”

Charles used a DJI Mavic Pro drone to film the video and Adobe Light Room to edit the footage.

He said filming with the drone was difficult.

“But once I learned the ropes, filming and flying was second nature.”

He plans to capture more videos in the future.

“I’m very excited to see what other things I can film using my drone in the coming months.”
