The artist Degas once said, "Art is not what you see, but what you make others see." Over the past week, at our annual art show, we have been privileged to see the beauty and creative visions of people and our world created by talented MHS artists. As you know, the artwork this year was exhibited in the lobby and in the library (it used to be on display in what is now the iHub).
Landscape paintings, portraits, digital photography, abstracts - so many genres imaginatively rendered by our students. Ms. Buongiovanni stated that, although the venue was different, "The kids' work is still incredible. The new course AP Art was showcased in the library for the first time. I am so proud of all of our students for their achievements and their assistance in the set up of the venue."
Among the many standouts were those by Hymn Yiu and Nicole Pereira.
