It's that time of the year again, Christmas! This holiday is a time where people are joyful, friendly, caring towards others. (And also a time to enjoy a nice cup of hot cocoa by the fireplace!) People refer to this holiday as a time of giving, which is what makes the holidays a great season. Whenever one gives a gift to a person in need, it always makes the holiday one they will never forget! And at MHS we do just that.
This year, one of the many "giving" efforts was the Holiday Clothing Drive for the people in St. Mary's Children's Hospital. The hospital provides special care for its young patients, and with Christmas coming, it was a great way to make these patients have a happy holiday. MHS students and families donated clothing for these patients who are in this hospital and who won't have the chance to spend the holidays with their loved ones because they are being given the treatment that they need. The most needed items are socks and pajamas, from newborns to age 21. If you are bringing in donations, please bring them to room 220, deadline is December 23, 2016. Thank you for taking part in this donation.
