You’re in luck! Remember how exciting book fairs were in elementary school? Look no further for the COVID-friendly option in 2020. Local bookstore, Aaron’s Books in Lititz, is hosting a virtual book fair for EHS!

You can go to the store and show the flyer, print or on your phone (check @mountsmediacenter on Instagram, Schoology or see a library staff member) OR order online and use the code EHS20 when you check out. You can opt to pay a small fee to have it shipped to your house OR select free school delivery and your purchases will be delivered in school before Christmas break.

NEWS INTRO

In today's news, COVID 19 vaccines are mostly all done in their testing stages and they are all highly effective. The newest one that hits the scene is the Oxford University vaccine. Interim data suggests 70% protection, but the researchers say the figure may be as high as 90% by tweaking the dose. However, the Oxford jab is far cheaper, and is easier to store and get to every corner of the world than the other two vaccines that have said to have been about 95% effective. Looks like we may be seeing a vaccine get distributed sometime soon but it may be a while before we get it.

The Pittsburgh Steelers continued their winning streak this weekend and are now 10-0. Up next is their division rival Baltimore Ravens on Thanksgiving night. The Eagles lost to the Browns, but maintain a very small lead in the NFC East with a 3-7-1 record.
