The sign-ups for the Mini-THON Halloween Costume Challenge are officially closed! The following seniors signed up and are ready to be bid on: Grace Young, Tyler Nelson, Michael Gallagher, Brandon Graves, Ashlyn Mazzocchi, Anish Khadka, Dominique Palma- Ramey, Hannah Weaver, Aiden Stewart, Miracle Wratto, Alyssa Fedorshak, Zane Cammauf, David Mead, Zach Wanous, Isaiah Hornberger, and Blake Jones. The following teachers are also signed up: Coach Miller, Mrs. Rasmus, Mr. Martin, and Mrs. Didyoung! Find the one of the senior officers during your lunch period in the cafeteria to place a bid on these individuals. Bids start at $2 and go up in $1 increments. Winning bidders will be announced in Homeroom on Monday, October 26th and both money and costume ideas must be handed in to room 317 by Tuesday October 27th. A virtual competition will be held on our Instagram page, @ehs_minithon , on Saturday, October 31st. May the highest bid win!

Sign up to take the ASVAB today!  If you are in 10th, 11th, or 12th grade and need some help making career decisions, then consider taking the ASVAB.  The ASVAB is designed to help you learn more about yourself and the world of work, explore occupational skills in line with your interests and skills, and develop a strategy to realize your career goals.  This free assessment is offered at EHS on Tuesday, November 3rd, and there is absolutely no military commitment by taking the test.  You can find the sign up link in Schoology as well as on the Counseling webpage.

Picture retake day has been scheduled for Monday, October 26th

If you missed the original picture days or you want your picture retaken, retakes will be taking place Monday, Oct 26 in the auditorium starting at 12:30.  For retakes you will need to turn in the picture packet that you received.

In today's news NASA is planning to set up a 4G Network on the moon by 2022. This is an attempt to reach the 2028 goal to build a lunar base an ultimately sustain human life on the moon. Nokia's Bell Labs infused 14.1 million dollars to start the project. NASA says that the 4G could be more reliable and provide longer distant communications than what's on earth right now. The data on the moon will probably be better than anything that we have on earth right now.

Yesterday, field hockey was home vs garden spot. Although the lady Mounts dominated play, there was no score following regulation play. 3 minutes and 47 seconds later in overtime, Tori Wilkerson came through with the golden goal. Annika Galen recorded 4 saves on the shutout win. Volleyball traveled to LS and won 3-0 recording scores of 25-22, 25-20, 25-20. Today, boys soccer is home vs Garden Spot and the girls are away at Garden Spot. Field hockey is at Solanco. Tomorrow, boys soccer is home and the girls are away vs McCaskey, and volleyball is home vs Lebanon.

Please choose only one young lady to represent Ephrata for the 2020-2021 School Year.  The winner will be announced on FRIDAY OCTOBER 23rd at 6:50pm during the PRE GAME before the Football Game at the WAR MEMORIAL FIELD!!!!
