You will receive your testing room assignment in homeroom today.

If you don’t have your own calculator, borrow one from your math teacher BEFORE test day.

This announcement is for all freshmen: Individual Freshmen Transition meetings with your counselor begin on Monday, October 19th. Meetings are 10 minutes each and will focus on; a discussion about 1st semester classes, a reflection on your transition to EHS, as well as a conversation about possible future career directions. Please go the EHS Counseling website to sign up for a time slot for your meeting. You can also get there by using the link for the signup page found on your Schoology newsfeed as well. Be sure to select a date and time that works best for your schedule – if you have a study hall, that would be the ideal period for this meeting.
ACT time is the perfect time to open your laptop and sign up for a time slot for your meeting – don’t delay!

Attention EHS !
Many of you have been asking about when the Anime Club would be starting back up again, we finally have a date! Anime club returns October 15th!
Anime club is hosted in Mr. Hershey's room, 309.
The club starts at 3:00, directly after school, and ends at 3:40 (the activity bus is available for transportation home) The Club runs all year.
What is anime club? You may be asking. Anime club is a group of like-minded students who gather every week to watch, discuss, and interact with each other about and relating to anime and Japanese culture.
If you have any questions whatsoever, message Mr. Hershey on Schoology.

In today's news, dogs in Lebanon are being trained to sniff out the coronavirus. Dr. Riad Sarkis, noticed that in the COVID 19 wards there was always a specific smell. According to a French-Lebanese research team, the animals can detect Covid-19 in almost 100% of cases, after smelling human sweat. They hope that they can take this research and deploy it to the airports around the world.

Friday in sports football won at Lancaster Catholic. Taj London had 110 receiving yards and 2 touchdowns. Field Hockey lost 2-0. Saturday, boys soccer lost 3-1 vs Manheim Central. The lone goal for the Mounts was scored by Caleb Gaston. Girls soccer won 2 nill vs Manheim central with goals from Ianna Nissley and Jianna Welsh. Sophia Gonzalez had 5 saves in the shutout. Yesterday, boys soccer lost 2-4 at McCaskey with goals from Simon Yoder and Caleb Gaston. Girls soccer won 6-0 vs McCaskey. Emily Weidner and Mya Mahlandt each had 2 goals and Keirsten Doutt and Iyanna Nissley added to the tally. Volleyball lost 1-3 vs E Town. Today, cross country is at Hempfield, field hockey is home vs Cocalico, and volleyball is home vs Solanco.
