NOW OVER TO ____ WITH THE NEWS

NEWS INTRO VIDEO

In today’s news, Joe Biden had another big primary night last night as he won Missouri, Mississippi, Idaho, and Michigan’s democratic primary. This has dealt a serious blow to Bernie Sanders’ campaign as he just can’t seem to pull the numbers Biden has in the last week or so. One of the biggest reasons for this is because most of Bernie’s voter base is in the youth, and almost every primary has seen a youth voter turnout of only 15% or less in each state.
On this day in history in 1997, Paul McCartney was knighted. His “services to music” gave him respect from the highest of British authorities, the Queen herself, which earned him the title of Sir Paul McCartney. Most British citizens saw his knighthood as long overdue even by the most conservative standards, which sees most such honors going to judges, scientists, and politicians.
