In today’s news, going along with the trend of big companies turning “green”, either because they care or maybe for political reasons, Microsoft has pledged to go “carbon-negative” by 2030. While the company vows to diminish all carbon emissions, they also plan to remove all the carbon emitted by the company since 1975, which is a hefty goal but supposedly planned to be completed in 30 years.
On this day in history in 1950, 11 men pulled off one of the most expensive heists in history. These men from Boston devised an extensive plan to steal loads of cash from Brinks Armored Car depot. They made away with $2 million in cash, that's $29 mil today, and weren’t caught until almost 6 years later. The thing is, all the cash was never found, and is supposedly hidden in the hills north of Grand Rapids, Minnesota. -----------------
