NOW OVER TO ____ WITH THE NEWS

NEWS INTRO VIDEO

------------------

In today’s news, you may notice the sudden increase in oil prices, the cause of that being that tensions in the Middle East (particularly against the U.S and Iran), have increased tenfold as an American airstrike killed Iran’s top general on an attack on Baghdad’s international airport early this morning. Some say imminent war is approaching, while others regard these actions as necessary for national defense.

On this day in history in 1924, King Tutankhamen’s sarcophagus was discovered by Howard Carter. Made of solid gold and carrying the mummified remains of the 3,000 year old boy-king, King Tut’s sarcophagus was unearthed during a four year extensive excavation of King Tut’s Tomb. Today the sarcophagus lies in a museum in Cairo, Egypt. -----------------
