Make sure you have a pass when you come to check out the clothing during a class period. The store will be open from the start of 1st period to the end of the 7th. In today’s news, a woman from San Francisco is offering a reward of $7,000 to anyone who finds her dog, which was stolen outside a grocery store last week. She has also purchased a $1,200 plane to help search for her dog, and advertise the website she set up to assist in contacting people about the dog’s whereabouts.

bowling won 5-2 against Lebanon, boys swimming lost 128-48 at Manheim Twp the lone winner for the match was Thomas McGillan in the 50 free. On the girls side, they also lost to a strong Manheim Twp squad 140-40. wrestling lost 42-27 home vs E town. Scoring for Ephrata were Tanner McCracken with a major, Allen Swofford by pin, Austin Brass by pin, Kayde Althouse by technical fall, and James Ellis by forfeit.
Unified Track and Field will be hosting a parent/athlete meeting January 16th from 5-6pm at the HS. Unified Track and Field is looking for all athletes from varying ability levels. If you have additional questions please reach out to Coach Holmes from the intermediate school.

The Ephrata High School Theatre Program announces auditions for its upcoming spring production “The Wizard of Oz.”
Auditions for “The Wizard of Oz” will be held on Monday, January 6th and Tuesday, January 7th at 3:30pm, with select call-backs on Wednesday, January 8th in the auditorium.
Students interested in auditioning for the musical may sign-up in the Student Activities Office from today to January 3rd. Information is also available in Schoology under EHS The Wizard of Oz Auditions 2019. You must attend both days of auditions to be considered for a role. Newcomers are warmly encouraged.
Students interested in Pit Orchestra may sign up for time slots near the band room. Their auditions will be held on a separate day scheduled for Thursday, Jan 9th. Students who may want to be part of stage crew, please continue to listen to the announcements for updates and information.
“The Wizard of Oz” will be directed and choreographed by Mr. Gonzalez with Vocal/Music Direction by Mrs. Owsinski and Pit Orchestra directed by Mrs. Klinger
