In today’s news, the impeachment inquiry for President Trump has gone to live coverage, and over the course of this week Americans can tune in to their screens to see if the President is convicted, or if he is innocent. The last time this was available was in 1973 with the Nixon Watergate scandal.
On this day in history in 1918, on the 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month, World War I ended. The worldwide struggle between the Allies and the Central Powers lasted a grueling 5 years, and featured some of the most gruesome combat to date with the horrifying trench warfare.
