With the NBA season starting, I started to think about some of the weird things that happen in basketball. Like a team scoring in their own basket or even a fight between players and fans. So here are some of the NBA´s weirdest stat lines.
On January 25, 1986, Manute Bol scored 4 points, 4 rebounds, and 15 blocks. The 15 blocks was an NBA record at the time.
On April 4, 2003, C.J. Wilson had 1 point, 1 rebound, 1 assist, 1 steal, 1 block, and 1 TO. This was the first time this happened in NBA history.
In 2005, Rip Hamilton had 14 points. Which is normal but he didn´t make a single shot from the field. He made all of his shots from the free-throw line.
In 3 straight games, Dennis Rodman had 0 points and 25 rebounds. Then 0 points and 24 rebounds and then 0 points and 28 rebounds.
In 1962, Wilt Chamberlain had 100 points, which is still a record today. Along with that had had 25 rebounds.
These are some of the weirdest stat lines in NBA history. My sources are https://medium.com/the-foul-shot/top-10-weirdest-stat-lines-in-nba-history-92b264fd5f2a and https://www.foxsports.ph/basketball/nba/842625/numbers-weirdest-stat-lines-nba/.
