Conestoga Valley High School is hosting their Annual College Night NOVEMBER 4th from 6 to 8 PM.  There will be over 200 colleges, trade and technical schools represented, as well as seminars on How to Choose a College and Financial Aid.

Chess Club will begin meeting this week in room 107 after school on Tuesdays and Thursdays.  If you have any interest in chess, whether to simply learn the fundamentals or maybe even compete on the chess team, please stop by and learn more about the club and team here at Ephrata.

In today’s news, President Trump states that the sanctions on Turkey will be lifted because Turkey agreed to a permanent cease-fire in northern Syria. Hopefully, this will end Turkey’s military offensive into the country that occurred after Trump pulled troops from the area a few weeks prior.

On this day in history in 1648, the Treaty of Westphalia was signed, ending the 30 Years War. This war was an intense power struggle in Europe that spanned multiple wars and conflicts. By signing the treaty, France became the preeminent power of Europe and the influence and prestige of the almighty Holy Roman Empire began to deteriorate.

yesterday, the freshman football team lost 8-18 vs Garden Spot in their final home game of the 2019 season.

Saturday, your lady Mounts soccer team hits the pitch vs Central Dauphin at home at 7PM in the quarter finals of the District 3 tournament. Set a reminder to come out and cheer them on! Student tickets are $4.

Ephrata Mini-THON would like to invite you and your family to “Pasta with a Purpose”!

Tomorrow on October 25th from 6-8pm, we will be hosting a spaghetti dinner in the high school cafeteria.

Pre order tickets will be available for $10.  Tickets for children ages 5-12 only $5.  Children under the age of 5 free.

All proceeds go to Four Diamonds, hope to see you there!
