Ephrata High School is excited to host our first College Application Day on Tuesday, October 22nd in the High School Media Center. This is a great opportunity for seniors to complete applications to any colleges with the assistance of high school counselors and admission representatives from 8 local colleges and universities. All 8 schools are offering FREE applications on that day as well. In addition to these colleges, a representative from PHEAA (Pennsylvania Higher Education Assistance Agency) will be here from 11am-1pm to help students create a FSA Id which is needed to complete the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid).
Seniors can stop up at their convenience to complete applications throughout the day. If you have any questions, do not hesitate to reach out to your counselor.

Conestoga Valley High School is hosting their Annual College Night NOVEMBER 4th from 6 to 8 PM. There will be over 200 colleges, trade and technical schools represented, as well as seminars on How to Choose a College and Financial Aid.

yesterday girls soccer will played for the LL championship match at at Warwick vs Manheim Central. The last time the Mounts were in the title match was 2001. Despite windy and cold conditions, the lady Mounts were victorious in bringing home the very first LL league girls soccer victory in the school's history. The lone goal came from a Claire Schwartz pass to the feet of Abby Weist who drew the goalkeeper off her line and dribbled around her to score. Congratulations to the Lady Mounts!

All students interested in participating in winter sports signups are underway on Schoology. Available sports are: bowling, swimming, rifle, winter track & field, basketball and wrestling.

Open gyms for any girls interested in playing basketball this season will begin on Monday, October 21 from 6-7:30 pm in the high school gym. Open gyms will continue every Monday and Wednesday evening until the start of the season. For more information, please see Coach Cerullo.

Hey Dodge Ball fans, there is still time to sign up to play in the 16th annual Ephrata Dodge Ball Tournament on Friday and Saturday, November 8th and 9th at the Ephrata Senior High School. Proceeds from this event will help fight Juvenile Diabetes.

Sign up for the ASVAB in the Counseling office! If you are in 10th, 11th, or 12th grade and need some help making career decisions, then consider taking the ASVAB. The ASVAB is designed to help you learn more about yourself and the world of work, explore occupational skills in line with your interests and skills, and develop a strategy to realize your career goals. This free assessment is offered at EHS on Friday, November 1st. Stop in the Counseling office to sign up today! There is absolutely no military commitment

This is a reminder to all 9th grade students- individual Freshmen Transition Meetings begin this morning; Friday, October 18th. During this meeting you and your counselor will have an opportunity to discuss the successes and challenges related to your transition to EHS, grades, activities and career ideas. This conversation will help you build a supportive relationship with your counselor as you reach for your future goals at EHS and beyond. Meetings are 10 minutes each, and you will receive a pass on the morning of you meeting. Don’t forget to touch base with your teacher on the day of your meeting in order to minimize class disruptions.

Ephrata Mini-THON would like to invite you and your family to “Pasta with a Purpose”!
On October 25th from 6-8pm, we will be hosting a spaghetti dinner in the high school cafeteria.
Pre order tickets will be available for $10. Tickets for children ages 5-12 only $5. Children under the age of 5 free.
