In today’s news, a deadly storm, known as Typhoon Hagibis, struck Japan this weekend and caused upwards to 50 casualties. Entire cities have been flooded by the typhoon, as a total of 35 inches of rain fell upon Japan. The worst has yet to come however, as potential for devastating mudslides has come to fruition all over the country.
On this day in history in 1821, Napoleon Bonaparte, military mastermind and former emperor of France, begun his second exile to the island of St. Helena, after his first escape from the island of Elba years prior. Although his reign as French dictator was arguably one of the most influential European rule of all time, he met his fate on St. Helena to declining health.

Friday, football won vs Lebanon to keep a playoff spot alive, Saturday the girls soccer team won 2-0 with goals from Annie Slovak and Mya Mahlandt and will continue on in the LL tournament. yesterday volleyball lost to E town

today, the cross country league championship is at Ephrata Middle school and girls soccer is back in action at Manheim Central at 7 to take on CV in the quarter finals. Come out and support the girls!

Ephrata Mini-THON would like to invite you and your family to “Pasta with a Purpose”!
On October 25th from 6-8pm, we will be hosting a spaghetti dinner in the high school cafeteria.
