This announcement is for all freshmen:  Individual Freshmen Transition meetings with your counselor begin on Friday, October 18th.   Meetings are 10 minutes each and will focus on; a discussion about 1st semester classes, a reflection on your transition to EHS, as well as a conversation about possible future career directions.  Please go the counseling website to sign up for a time slot for your meeting.  You can also get there by using the link for the signup page found on your Schoology newsfeed as well.  Be sure to select a date and time that works best for your schedule – if you have a study hall, that would be the ideal period for this meeting. Now is the perfect time to open your laptop and sign up for a time slot for your meeting – don’t delay!

All students who signed up to take the PSAT exam on Wednesday October 16###sup/sup### will receive a pass this morning in homeroom for today’s PSAT pre-administration session.  This meeting will take place in the cafeteria immediately following period 1 (shortly after 8:35).  Please report directly to the cafeteria after your 1^st period class.  There is no need for you to check in with your period 2 teacher.

College Bound Juniors and Seniors!  Come to Financial Aid Night on Thursday October 10th at 6:30 PM in the EHS Auditorium.  A representative from the Pennsylvania Higher Education Assistance Agency will be here to present information on all things financial aid.

Sign up for the ASVAB in the Counseling office today!  If you are in 10th, 11th, or 12th grade and need some help making career decisions, then consider taking the ASVAB.  The ASVAB is designed to help you learn more about yourself and the world of work, explore occupational skills in line with your interests and skills, and develop a strategy to realize your career goals.  This free assessment is offered at EHS on Friday, November 1st.  Stop in the Counseling office to sign up today! There is absolutely no military commitment

Friday in sports, Football ran over Columbia in the homecoming game with a final score of 70-22. On Saturday, both soccer teams came out victorious. The boys beat Muhlenberg 4-1 and the girls beat South Western 4-0. Field Hockey lost 3-7 at Fleetwood.

Attention all Junior and Senior girls, there will be meetings held next week for all those who are interested in playing in this years powderpuff game, which will be held on November 6th. Sign ups are first come, first serve. Meetings will be held right after school in Mr. Marzock’s room, room 137 until 3:00. Tuesday, October 8th will be a meeting for any Junior girls interested in playing, and on Wednesday, October 9th there will be a meeting for any Senior girls interested in playing. The meetings will be about practices, if you can not attend please contact (717)635-5462.
