Any 10th, 11th, and 12th graders interested in Kutztown University? Looking for an opportunity to tour a college campus?  Join us for a FIELD TRIP to KUTZTOWN UNIVERSITY on October 15th!  Students will leave school at 8:45 AM and return at approximately 1:30 PM.  Be sure to pick up a field trip permission form from the counseling office and return by TODAY!  Seats are limited, so be sure to turn your permission form in ASAP!

Sign up for the ASVAB in the Counseling office starting today!  If you are in 10th, 11th, or 12th grade and need some help making career decisions, then consider taking the ASVAB.  The ASVAB is designed to help you learn more about yourself and the world of work, explore occupational skills in line with your interests and skills, and develop a strategy to realize your career goals.  This free assessment is offered at EHS on Friday, November 1st.  Stop in the Counseling office to sign up today! There is absolutely no military commitment

ATTENTION FUTURE LEADERS!  You have the opportunity to be selected to attend the HOBY Youth State Leadership Seminar this coming May.  TWO 10th grade students will be selected based on their response to the following:

    "Many leaders are determined and committed to a cause.  Write about something you are passionate about and explain how you could lead others to care about your cause."

Please submit your brief essay to the counseling office by Friday 10/4.

In today’s news, Trump’s personal attorney Rudy Giuliani has been subpoenaed by House Democrats for documents and communications with Ukraine leading back to January 2017. These documents from Giuliani may indicate a more definite answer to whether or not Trump could or could not be impeached in the next few months.

On this day in history in 1890, the Yosemite National Park is established. With the actions of John Muir and other early environmentalists they pushed the government into signing an act that would officially create the Park and lead the way to hundreds of other national parks that would pop up around the country in decades to come.

yesterday in sports, girls soccer won 1-0 vs Muhlenberg and volleyball won 3 games to 0 vs Cocalico at home.

today,  the cross country teams are off to Lebanon, boys and girls soccer take on Manheim Central. The boys are home and the girls are away. Field hockey plays at Warwick.
