In today’s news; and no, this one isn’t about Trump, a new study conducted by top neurological scientists has concluded that too much training is leaving a massive neurological impact on teen and adult athletes. Those who explicitly train too hard are said to experience less winning and more fatigue as the study concluded that the brain begins to subconsciously stop worrying about winning and starting to be less willing to exert any effort at all, and over time this can affect things even outside of sports.
On this day in history in 1920, eight Chicago White Sox players were charged in the alleged fixing of the 1919 World Series. The White Sox intentionally lost the World Series in exchange for thousands of dollars from gamblers. Upon their charging, they were banned from all organized professional baseball teams.
