Tomorrow a representative from Harrisburg University will be here at 8:00 and a representative from Edinboro University will be here at 9:00. College Bound Juniors and Seniors! Come to Financial Aid Night on Thursday October 10###sup/sup### at 6:30 PM in the EHS Auditorium. A representative from the Pennsylvania Higher Education Assistance Agency will be here to present information on all things financial aid.

Attention Sophomores, Juniors and seniors, did you purchase a yearbook last year? If so, the spring supplements will be available for pickup at the attendance window or at lunches today and tomorrow. Stop past and pick up your copy. The spring supplement contains all the activities and sports from spring all the way up to graduation.

ATTENTION FUTURE LEADERS! You have the opportunity to be selected to attend the HOBY Youth State Leadership Seminar this coming May. TWO 10th grade students will be selected based on their response to the following:
"Many leaders are determined and committed to a cause. Write about something you are passionate about and explain how you could lead others to care about your cause."
Please submit your brief essay to the counseling office by Friday 10/4.

It’s about that time of year again for the annual blood drive! Signups will be during all lunches until October 11th. To sign up, you must be at least 16 and have parental permission. Whether you’re doing it out of goodwill for the patients or because you believe it helps feed the local vampires, come out and sign up!

There will be a meeting on Wednesday, September 25th for those who are interested in playing in our annual powderpuff game, which will be held on Wednesday, November 6th. The meeting will be held in the café from 2:45-3:30. Make sure you have your physical so that you can participate in the game. More information about practice dates and times will be posted.

yesterday in sports, field hockey lost at Penn Manor, boys soccer lost 2-1 vs Lampeter Strasburg. Tennis lost 2-5 vs Cedar Crest, but the girls soccer team won 1-0 vs Lampeter Strasburg.

The LL league golf tournament was held yesterday at foxchase golf course. Jeet Patel, Trevor Dydo and Christian Buskirk represented Ephrata. Jeet tied for 14th. This earned Jeet a spot in the district tournament on Oct 4th and 5th. Congratulations and good luck Jeet......GO MOUNTS!!

Attention all 9th graders. On Tuesday, October 1st, the class of 2023 will be participating in a STEM Summit hosted by an organization called Junior Achievement. During this day-long experience, you will be participating in games, experiments, competitions, and activities that relate to Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics. You will be assigned to a team and a teacher to help guide you through the event, which will be shared in homeroom on the day of the STEM Summit.
