This announcement is for all students who signed up for next year’s AP Economics class. There will be a meeting today in room 208 immediately after school. During this meeting we
will discuss course requirements and you will receive summer reading assignments.
If you cannot attend the meeting, you need to see Mr. Hagen in 208 as soon as possible.

There will be a meeting for All who are interested in playing Boys or Girls Soccer in the fall of 2019 on Wednesday, May 29th at 6:30pm at the Ephrata Middle School Turf Field
Open play will be held for both the Boys and Girls following the meeting.

All girls interested in field hockey in the fall, there will be a parent information meeting on Thursday, May 30th in the high school media center starting at 7 pm.

All girls interested in girls volleyball, there will be a parent meeting on Wednesday, May 29th at the middle school gym starting at 6:15 pm

2 girls (Anaya Johnson and Mary Campbell) and 5 boys (Tyler Shue, Andrew Foster, Ben Kamide, Stefano Astudillo, and Sam Knowles) traveled to Shippensburg University this weekend to compete in the State Track & Field Championships.
Anaya Johnson competed in the 100 meter dash. She was not able to punch her ticket to Saturday’s semifinals, but she will be ready to make it there next year.
Andrew Foster placed 19th out of 25 runners in the 2 mile. He will go on to compete in both cross country and track @ Shippensburg University.
Our boys 4x400 meter relay team of Ben Kamide, Stefano Astudillo, Andrew Foster, and Tyler Shue ran a 3:25.25 which is less than a second off from our 4x400 meter relay record set back in 1970. The team placed 14th out of 28 teams on Friday during trials.
Mary Campbell made it through the 1600 meter trials on Friday placing 3rd in her heat. On Saturday, she earned a state medal in the 1600 meter run by placing 6th with a school record time of 5:02.44.
Tyler Shue breezed to a 1st place finish in his heat on Friday during the 800 meter run trials. On Saturday, he became a state champion in the 800 meter run with a school record time of 1:51.55.

Seniors, Baccalaureate is taking place on Wednesday, June 5 at 7 pm in the high school auditorium.

The Wellness Center will be open of the summer for all students on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from 10am-1pm. The first day that we will be open will be Wednesday June 12th. If you have any questions see Mr. Clair.
