The library will be holding quiet hours on Tuesdays and Thursdays during the school day. Just in time for testing season, the library will provide a quiet place to study for students during all periods on Tuesdays and Thursdays through the end of May. Any students in the library (study hall pass, Senior Flex, NHS pass, or flexible learning) will be expected to be very quiet or silent. Any student unable to adhere to this request will be asked to leave.

Avengers: Endgame has made box office history by taking a record-breaking $1.2 billion in global ticket sales in its opening run. The Disney blockbuster has become the fastest film ever to break the $1bn barrier, doing so in just five days. Endgame is the 22nd offering in the Marvel Studios superhero franchise. Its opening takings smashed the previous global debut record of $640 million set by last year's Avengers: Infinity War.

The investigative journalist who revealed the Cambridge Analytica scandal has demanded answers from tech giants about political ads. In her TED talk, Carole Cadwalladr called on the executives of Facebook and Twitter to come to the conference and discuss their role in influencing elections around the world. Twitter boss Jack Dorsey is due to speak later this week. TED curator Chris Anderson also invited Facebook to address the conference.

In sports action, volleyball won 3-1 vs West York boys lacrosse won 10-3 vs E town, and girls lacrosse won 9-7 at conrad Weiser,

Again congratulations to the Ephrata Mounts Boys Tennis team for being voted #1 in Sportsmanship this season in Section 2…very well deserved!!
Also, congratulations to Ephrata Mounts varsity tennis players on a GREAT league tournament! Our #2 doubles team (Jaron Wenger/Nick Ohline) and #3 doubles team (Colin Zucchi/Tyler Martin) all won matches to advance to the semi-finals of their respective flights in doubles. Our top 4 singles all played tough matches, with Nick Ohline and Chase Wilson winning 1st round matches. Our #1, Chase Wilson was voted a Lancaster-Lebanon League All Star and plays his final match in Flight 1 for 5th or 6th place in the league on Monday, 4/29 at CV High School at 3:45 pm. All are welcome to come out and support!

The Ephrata boys 4x400 relay team of Tyler Shue, Ben Kamide, Stefano Astudillo, Andrew Foster, and Trevin Hertzog traveled to Philadelphia to compete in the historic Penn Relays @ Penn University on Saturday. The boys placed 4th out of 11 teams in their heat with a time of 3:28.08. This time is currently the fastest time in the Lancaster-Lebanon League.
Our girls and boys track & field program will compete against Manheim Central today @ 4:00 PM. Come on out to the meet to support. Go MOUNTS!
