On Sat., March 30, the Columbus High Winter Guard and Percussion headed off to their state competition at Bellevue East. This competition was their final one of this season. Both teams have been working diligently to perfect their shows and when the time came, they did not disappoint. They performed with great prowess and spectators were astonished by the beautiful and unique show the percussion put on and were blown away by the marvelous and eye-catching show the guard posed. In the end, the percussionists placed 3rd in their Scholastic A Division and guard placed 8th. This wrapped up their season nicely and we are all proud of what they have accomplished. The hard work and passion these students have put into performing their show does not go unnoticed. Good job WGI, and thank you for such a wonderful season!
