The final dance of the 2022-2023 school year has come and left. Everyone had so much fun at the “Dripping with Luxury” themed dance.

Despite Prom Night being a chilly one, all the attendees were dressed to the nines. Each and every person came in  looking stunning in bright colors, sparkles, satin and feathers.

The tables were decorated with tea light candles and luxurious floral. All around the gym were fairy lights and fancy pillars making the whole dance look like you were walking through a mansion. 

Students' names were written on stars and placed in the hallway leading to the dance, which made all the attendees feel they were in a movie. There were many little touches that just made the dance better, such as an art deco backdrop covering the bleachers, removing any notion that this luxurious affair was actually a high school gym. There was also a big 2023 light up sign that really tied everything together. 

They also played many fan-favorite songs like “Single Ladies”, “Fergalicious”, “I Love Rock and Roll” and “No Hands.” Who wouldn’t have a good time? 

The students who said they went to the CHS Prom said it was great and they had so much fun! If you have the opportunity to go to prom next year, don’t hesitate to go and dance your heart out!
