NEWS INTRO VIDEO

A White House whistleblower has told Congress that dozens of rejected security clearance applications were overturned by the Trump administration. Tricia Newbold claimed applications that were denied for "serious disqualifying issues" were later reversed with little explanation. The veteran White House security adviser testified to the Democratic-led House Oversight and Reform Committee. Democrats have long claimed that White House officials have abused clearances. Newbold, who works as an adjudications manager in the White House Personnel Security Office, cited "grave" security risks arising from the intervention of her colleagues.
In other news,
Artists including Drake, Rihanna and J Cole have paid tribute to Los Angeles rapper Nipsey Hussle, who has been shot dead in Los Angeles. Drake described him as "a man of respect and a don", while Rihanna wrote on Twitter: "This doesn't make any sense! My spirit is shaken by this!" Two other people were wounded in the shooting outside Marathon Clothing in south Los Angeles.----------------------

PERSON 2: ONLY 6 members are selected to become representatives of student council per grade to represent our student body.

PERSON 1: But, you can’t ask Mr. Marzock or Mrs. Eshleman because they are the Student Council Advisors.
PERSON 2: Finally, a list of all eligible students running to be representatives will be sent out to the faculty for one last look-see. Just to make sure all said students running are within good standing at the high school.
PERSON 1: And if everything goes well, which it probably will, elections will be held during advisory on Friday April 12th.
PERSON 2: That means voting people!
