The Columbus High boys’ golf team started off there season in a puddle. They are anxiously awaiting to be on the golf course again and start preparing for the upcoming 2019 season. This year, the boys’ golf team has two returning seniors, Shane Hess and Zach Paden. I got a chance to interview the two seniors and ask them some questions about the upcoming season.

How long have you participated in Golf?

Shane Hess: Since Freshman Year

Zach Peden: All four years of my high school career

What is something that you are looking forward to this season?

SH: The car rides to tournaments. They are always fun, and we have a good time with our coaches.

ZP: Playing

What is your goal for this upcoming season?

SH: Have the team make state.

ZP: Try to help whatever team and do as best as I can. It is a team and individual sport.

What do you want to improve upon from last year?

SH: Leadership

ZP: Consistency

Any quotes/sayings that are giving you inspiration for this year?

ZP: Try to improve on the game every time.
