his day in 1781, the Articles of Confederation are finally ratified. The Articles were signed by Congress and sent to the individual states for ratification on November 15, 1777, after 16 months of debate. Bickering over land claims between Virginia and Maryland delayed final ratification for almost four more years. Maryland finally approved the Articles on March 1, 1781, affirming the Articles as the outline of the official government of the United States. The nation was guided by the Articles of Confederation until the implementation of the current U.S. Constitution in 1789.

Please come to the wood lab and pick up your table or table parts this week. If you do not remove your project before the end of the day this Friday, March 1st, it will be donated or repurposed. Please come and claim your belongings. If you cannot arrange for transportation this week, you must message Mr. Bischoff on Schoology and arrange for a different time.

 The Lancaster County Workforce Development Board’s Youth Council is excited to present the 2019 Health Careers Expo.  The event is scheduled to take place on Wednesday March 27, 2019. The event is being held at the PA College of Health Sciences. We are excited to add a new activity to the event this year, an Immersive Experience via IMAX technology. Students will be able to guide the experience using remotes.  If you are interested in attending this event, please stop down to guidance and pick up a permission form.  Permission forms are due by 3/18/19.

ROCK LITITZ is hosting a STEAM Career Exploration Day on May 2nd from 9 AM to 1 PM. 

This opportunity is a one-day experience for students in grades 11 and 12 who want to learn more about the live entertainment industry. Applications for this free career opportunity will be accepted until March 15, 2019 and successful applicants will be notified by April 5, 2019. Transportation and lunch will be provided.
