NEWS INTRO VIDEO

A dog called Kingston has been reunited with his owners 101 days after he went missing during the deadliest wildfire in California's history. The Ballejos family last saw Kingston, an Akita, during the devastating Camp Fire in November. Kingston, who is 12 years old, had jumped out of their truck as they fled their home in Paradise. A local animal rescue volunteer caught Kingston on Sunday, and the family believe he survived by hunting skunks.
In other news,
A Japanese spacecraft is set to "bite an asteroid" as it descends to collect a sample of rock from the surface. The Hayabusa-2 probe will try to grab the sample from a pre-chosen site on the asteroid Ryugu at 23:00 GMT on 21 February. The spacecraft reached asteroid Ryugu in June 2018 after a three-and-a-half-year journey from Earth. It is is expected to return to Earth with the rocky material it has cached in 2020.
On this day in 1848, just as he stood up from his desk in the House of Representatives to defend his no vote on a bill, former President John Quincy Adams suddenly collapsed from a cerebral hemorrhage. House members carried him to a bed in the Speaker of the House’s private chambers and immediately summoned his wife Louisa. By the time she arrived, he was not able to recognize her. His last words supposedly were, This is the end of earth, but I am content.
