On Sun, Jan. 20, the diamond dancers hosted the 18th Jam the Gym at CHS, and it was a huge success! Thank you to sophomores Kenzie Kallweit and Alexis Haynes for singing the National Anthem. Jam the Gym began with the performance of 99 kindergarten through sixth grade dancers that learned a dance the previous day at the little gems clinic. The diamond dancers performed seven routines including their two state routines, pom and high kick.

Local dance studios, iDance Project, Barb’s School of Dance, and Lynette’s Dance Studio performed multiple dances at the event. The CHS drumline and colorguard put on great shows. Barb’s School of Dance performed a tribute dance for Trevor Luckey, who was a member of Barb’s School of Dance and the diamond dancers. Thirteen “Diamond Guys” performed a fantastic routine at the very end of the event.
