The transition from middle school to high school can be extremely overwhelming. As time goes on the work load greatly increases and determination for some students decreases. My advice for every freshman is to never give up. Yes that sounds very cliche but by telling myself this everyday over the four years I’ve been in high school has gotten me to where I am today. I have great grades, was was accepted into many colleges and I am more determined than ever to become who I want to be. Remember to always stay on top of your work and manage your time! I do not recommend keeping homework for the last minute, it causes stress and maybe even a horrible grade. Make sure to study and to ask questions if you’re confused. The four years of high school will determine where you go to college and it determines the outcome of your future. Overall, make sure you know that high school is what you make of it. Enjoy it because it goes by quickly.
