Evil does not exist,
Or - at least - not naturally.
Man created such a beast,
A beast containing hatred and pain.
The beast should have never been bred,
It was made from misfortune in the good.
Pure humans are filled with good,
with hearts of love and hands full of care.
But what happens when we forget what we possess?
Consequences are formed through the darkness of the mind.
And we know this, we can see it happening.
So, why do we cause each other this pain?
Why do we fill ourselves with anguish,
And wear a coat of greed?
Where did it all start?
When might it ever end?
Well the end's not near
And the reason is not clear.
People are screaming, creeping, weeping.
But why when the good is patiently sleeping?
No sense is made, and people are confused,
Feeling beaten down, and overly-used.
But what is the goal in all the madness?
Only to brew sorrow and sadness?
All of the good is leaking down the drain.
What about the good which lies under the pain?
What about the the laughs covered by the cries?
What about passion burning in one's eyes?
What about the motivation in one’s head?
What about the positivity which is never said?
What about the words which are left unspoken?
What about the humanity which is unbroken?
What about the people who think with their hearts?
And view the darkness as a work of art?
The good in one’s heart is stored in the head,
And with all the negativity, it seems to be dead.
Hope will never fade,
even hidden by the shade.
But, uncovered by the mist, of all this,
Evil does exist
