The president has opted to place more sanctions on Iran’s Revolutionary Guard in response to accusations made against top members of the Iranian military of their complicity in the war in Yemen. They have been accused of providing Houthi Rebels in Yemen with weapons that they have used in their ongoing military conflict with Saudi Arabia, an ally of the United States.

On this day in 1934, famous outlaws Bonnie Parker and Clyde Barrow were shot and killed by Texas and Louisiana state police while driving in a stolen car. The couple’s record of robberies from various banks and stores is quite an impressive list, and to law enforcement the two were cold-blooded criminals who would kill anyone that got in their way. However, to the general public, Bonnie and Clyde were seen as Robin Hood-like figures.

Come out to the War Memorial Field tomorrow night for a rematch of the Lancaster Lebanon finals where the baseball team takes on LS again to move on in the district playoffs. Ephrata won the last match up 9-6.

There will be a mandatory pre-summer meeting for all students who signed up for AP US History next year on WEDNESDAY, MAY 30 at 2:35 in Room 123.  The purpose of this meeting is to introduce the APUSH course and  overview summer assignments.  Please make every effort to attend or see Mrs. Mellinger before next Wednesday if you have an academic conflict at that time.

Due to the construction starting immediately after school lets out, any items on the lost and found table after June 8th 2018 will be discarded. Please check the table if you think you have been looking for something. This also pertains to all items found during custodian locker clean out. Make sure to clear your lockers before you leave for the summer.
