Students in my Television Production class took part in a five month Stronger than Hate Campaign, where they were to identify a way to bring students together and film the results. The campaign, sponsored by the University of Southern California and the Shoa Foundation, is open to middle and high schools across the country. Recently, the organization published the ten groups who made it to the final round of judging, and both our class entries move on! At the end of this month, students will learn if they placed in the top four. All those who do win not only scholarship money, but funds for the school to continue anti-hate efforts.
