Pure nostalgia! That’s the only true way to describe “Grow.” Although it is only the second single released by Conan Gray, he doesn't shy away from showing us his skills in this true masterpiece!

Conan Gray is an eighteen year old YouTuber and singer. Born in San Diego, California, but raised in a small town in Texas, Gray is best known for his eponymous YouTube channel where he regularly uploads vlogs, original songs, and covers. Conan created his channel back in 2013 under the title ConanXCanon before changing it to his own name, but he has since gained over 500,000 subscribers. Gray currently resides in Los Angeles where he attends UCLA.

“Grow” is Gray’s second official release following his debut single, “Idle Town,” back in March. Conan wrote the song as a message for his friends and family, thanking them for the memories they’ve had together, but at this point, it’s time for him to grow up and move on to the next phase of his life.

“Grow” is an upbeat, pop song that is nearly guaranteed to make you wanna dance while also giving you all the feels. An electro-synthetic production and Gray’s vocal harmonies help make this song reminiscent of a classic 80s pop song that might be found on the Stranger Things soundtrack. Nostalgic and fresh, you’ll be taken on a trip down memory lane while listening. All and all “Grow” proves Gray has what it takes to one day top the Billboard Top 100.
