Middletown High School North hosted the fourth annual district talent show on Friday, April 13th. Bayshore Middle School, Thorne Middle School, Middletown North and Middletown South were among the schools that represented the immense talent our district has. It was a delightful evening filled with singing, acting, dancing, and playing instruments. There was even a magic act. The students were able to show off their talents in multiple facets and were able to showcase and advertise some of their upcoming events. For example, Bayshore Middle School did scenes and songs from their upcoming play, Sparkles and Sports which is to be presented at Bayshore Middle School on May 11th at 7 PM and May 12th at 4 PM. Middletown North also advertised for their upcoming Theatre Ensemble show, The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee which will be presented in the Middletown North auditorium on May 17th and 18th at 7 PM. Thanks to everyone who was involved in the talent show, including Amelia Ainbinder, our Emcee. Another thank you to the technical crew (Alex Kern, Nicholas Giunta, Pat Ballard, Sam Ehret, and Nick Rafaraci), who ran and helped with backstage, lights, and sound. Finally, a big thank you to Dr. Cartier for organizing this wonderful event.
