This is a big debate:  which  gaming console is better?  People have their opinions,  but I want to actually see which is better according to each system's specs. 

First, Play Station 2 vs original Xbox

PS2:

GPU - 'Graphics Synthesizer' (147mhz), 

System RAM - 32mb, Video RAM - 4mb, Resolution - 720x480 (SD), 1280x720 (HD - certain games only),

Now original Xbox: 

November 15, 2001 - November 22, 2005

CPU - 733 MHz 32-bit

RAM - 64 MB DDR SDRAM Resolution - 1920 x 1080 Graphics Controller - NVIDIA Xbox GPU Media Type - CD Rom, DVD Rom. 

As you can see PlayStation2 wins this battle.

As you can see, PlayStation 3 wins again.

As you can see, Playstation wins most categories from the past, but recent editions of the gaming console fall short. They may have to "up their game" in the near future if they want to continue to be competitive.
