Thanksgiving, Black Friday, Cyber Monday, and now Christmas, are upon us. November and December are two of the busiest months of the year, the time of the year where company profits spike according to Statista the U.S generated nearly over three trillion dollars during the 2013 holiday. Holiday decorations have already been placed on houses, and Christmas songs are being played on the radio, setting the stress bar level even higher.
“Christmas music is likely to irritate people if it’s played too loudly and early,”. Linda Blair, a clinical psychologist said. A few individuals are eager to start the holiday, so they play Christmas songs which can affect a person’s mental state causing them a great deal of stress before the holidays even begin. By the time Christmas arrives people can already be annoyed and frustrated from songs that are repeatedly played on the radios.
