This Saturday on November 11, 2017 we will celebrate Veterans Day, a day solely for honoring those who have served and/or lost their lives for the freedom of our country. This also means a day off for students and those who work, and a time to remember those who died fighting or celebrate who made it.
America has fought in many wars, where many American lives were lost. In World War ll, around 50 million Americans died. In the Vietnam War, the death toll was at 58,000. Over the course of American history, millions of innocent lives have been lost for the sake of the freedom of American citizens. It is important to show respect to those who have given their lives for the freedom of Americans.
