On October 21, 2017, the Marching Leemen traveled to James Madison University at 7 in the morning for the most anticipated competition known in the State...the 40th annual Parade of Champions! 

With a total of 52 bands divided into 5 classes: A, AA, AAA, AAAA, and AAAAA, the Marching Leemen were classified this year as Class A with and performed at 9:21 am.  Our Leemen gave it their all and placed fourth in their class! The majority of the Band stayed after the  awards to see the bigger bands and all the elements and effects they put into their shows.

The Marching Leemen have a few more performances left: 10/28/17 is their Marching Assessment, where they are given a rating rather than a rank amongst the other bands. This will be at Monticello High School in Charlottesville, VA and they will perform at about 12:15.
