A review of “Destiny 2”

Destiny 2 (2017) is a great game with many elements that players seeked from the original Destiny (2014). It has a riveting story, and an actual antagonist unlike the original Destiny. The intense cooperative gameplay of the in-game raid, the Leviathan, has players trying their hardest to beat the antagonist. The raid has many sections to it, which all need player to player (P2P) communication. The Player versus player aspect in the game is also team focused, as due to characters super abilities charging much slower than in the original Destiny. Players would have a hard time playing alone in this game, as it is necessary to meet new people and work with them. The grindable activities in the game (such as heroic events) yield fulfilling rewards, unlike the original game, which would rarely give players a chance at getting a good reward. Overall, Destiny 2 is far from a masterpiece, but it is a huge step towards perfection from the original installment of the series.
