Guys, we just heard the best news! A whole new set of emojis will be coming later this year and we can't even. There's a sandwich, a zombie, a woman wearing a hijab, even a "throwing up" emoji. (Who hasn't been waiting for that?) 

The Unicode Consortium, a nonprofit which decides what emojis populate our phones, has an actual selection process which considers various factors. Some of these factors include whether an emoji is needed for compatibility with emojis on other platforms like Snapchat or Twitter and the level of usage that an emoji will likely generate.
