The Lee High Golf teams came back from Regionals with broken dreams and hearts, despite giving it all they had and more. After playing Wilson, Strasburg, and Woodstock, Lee High finished second with a score of 320 just one point above Wilson. Thomas Otteni was the only member of the golf team to advance to States. Junior Cullen Wallace shot his personal best at Regionals. After talking to Cullen he said that “this season didn’t have the outcome that he originally planned, but nonetheless it has been a great experience and he is looking forward to next year”. After a great season the golf team unfortunately has to say goodbye to Senior Colby Berry. After playing two years on the Lee Golf team Colby has surely left his mark on the team. He leaves his words of advice for the team: “more practice leads to better results”.
