Stroudsburg High School students participated in the FTK Mini-thon again for the 4th year in a row. We at SHS are one of the most loving schools in Monroe County. All of the students at the high school feel like it's their job to help support our community and the neighboring communities. This year’s Mini-thon was very successful. The students spent months raising money to help childhood cancer.

A family who lost their child to childhood cancer created the Four Diamonds Fund. They started this organization to help pay for the families who are going through a hard time and money for the research to cure cancer. The families who are supported by the Four Diamonds Fund never see a bill for their child's care. The money we raise goes for amazing causes. We feel like it is our job to show the children who are going through a hard time and who don't really know what’s wrong with them that people care about helping them, as well as their families who are struggling over the fact that their angels were cursed with cancer. 

We want to support those families and do what ever we can to let them know they are loved and cared for and thought about in many ways. We raised $100,292.80 for the organization at this year's Mini-thon and that is the most we have ever raised. We are now going to continue and raise more for next year, we hope you can support us in any way you can.
