Do you know of a snack that everyone loves? I do. Chocolate chip cookies. I don’t know of anyone who doesn’t like a delectably great batch of chocolate chip cookies. Moms, dads, Santa Clause, everybody loves chocolate chip cookies. As they should, seeing as chocolate chip cookies are the universal cookie, besides Oreos. Here are the ingredients and steps to having a happy tummy full of cookies.
If you are looking for a holiday activity to spend time with your family, this is just the thing for you. The best part is, making chocolate chip cookies with someone in your family doesn’t necessarily have to be a holiday thing. It can be for any time of year and it can be a bonding experience all year-round.
For example, a few weeks ago, I made chocolate chip cookies with my grandma. We laughed and talked and it was a great memory that I am so happy to have. My grandpa was even in on it; he joked around and made it an even better time. My grandma and I have this tradition where we always get together and make a dessert for the holidays.
We made about 4 dozen cookies with our recipe. This recipe can be easily doubled or halved.
However, before you begin, double-check to make sure that you have these items on hand for you to use when you make your mouthwatering cookies.

2 ¼ cups flour

1 tsp baking soda

1 tsp salt

1 cup (2 sticks) butter

¾ cup sugar

¾ cup brown sugar

1 tsp vanilla extract

2 eggs

A bag of chocolate chips (or as many as you deem necessary
Here are the steps to having chocolatey deliciousness at home.

Preheat the oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit.

Combine flour, baking soda, and salt into a small bowl

Mix butter, brown sugar, and vanilla extract in a large mixing bowl until smooth.

One at a time, add eggs. Make sure to mix well after each added egg.

Add in the chocolate chips.

Use melon ballers and scoop out the dough onto ungreased baking sheets.

Bake for 9-11 minutes for a softer cookie and 12-15 minutes for a crispier cookie.

Let cool, and enjoy.
There are about a billion snacks in the world, but chocolate chip cookies are in the top 5. Now that you know the way to the path of warm gooey deliciousness, get to baking. I heard Santa Clause is coming to town soon.
Making memories doesn’t always need to be something special like going to Disneyland or going out to eat. It can be something as simple as baking chocolate chip cookies. Sometimes, less is more.
