Special Olympics is a event held for children and adults with intellectual disabilities, providing them an opportunity to compete in track and field events. On May 11th 2017, East Stroudsburg South High School hosted Special Olympics for Monroe County schools, as they did for the past three years. This is a time for parents, students, and teachers to come along and watch their athletes compete after weeks of training. Most importantly, it's a day where everything is about them and having fun.
