Venue Of Merging Arts
Are you an artistic person? Whether it be music, painting, drawing, photography, or any other artistic form of expressing yourself, it’s nice to find a place where you can meet similar minded people who are also artistic.
In Johnstown, The Venue Of Merging Arts (V.O.M.A.) is that place. On Saturday, April, 22, I had the chance to attend an art gallery held at V.O.M.A., where a group of many artists from the area met up to show their work and hopefully sell some of it or just get some publicity for their businesses.
During the art show, I got to meet nearly all of the artists whose work was being shown in the gallery, and was even treated to a live music show from local musician Adam Mundok (Video above).
I bought two small card stock prints from an up and coming artist, I interacted with photographers, painters, and just about every kind of artist you can imagine.
The atmosphere was warm and inviting, and the experience was a great one, and I intend to return there again whenever I can.
The Venue Of Merging Arts is located in an old church building across from Ace’s Banquets in the west end of Johnstown, and every Saturday, life musical performances are shown, with an art gallery being held once every three months.
