Carnegie Science center visited Greater Johnstown Senior High school today, Monday, April 10, 2017, in order to help introduce their “Makerspace” concept to the school. The representatives from Carnegie brought in a 3D printer and other supplies that they used to help students create three-dimensional gliders out of foam.
“Makerspace” has been slowly being introduced to the school for the last few years since the school first received funding for the project from a grant in October of 2015.
There will be a variety of separate focuses within the “Makerspace” group, such as Sewing, Photography, Videography, Music Production, and Computers and Technology.
